This B1 exam is conducted in two phases with each phase extending for five minutes. Under the first phase of five minutes, candidates will have to discuss on the topic that is prepared by them and this is an opportunity for the test takers to display their level of language and they will be talking on their own selected topic. Here, candidates should be careful about the selection of a topic in which they feel can talk without any hindrance, which can be the area of their interest. Under the second phase, the examiner will be conversing with the candidate on any two topics, which will be selected by the examiner. Here, candidates are provided with the opportunity to exchange their ideas and opinions.
